You do not need a full gym to train well. A handful of well-chosen tools lets you warm up properly, add resistance, protect your joints and stay organised. This guide shows how to build a training kit from the Olympa fitness accessories range, step by step, depending on where and how you train.
Step 1: Warm-up and activation
Every good session starts by preparing the joints and waking up the muscles you are about to use. The OlyFit MiniTone Band Set (5 Levels) gives you five progressive resistance levels for glute activation, shoulder prep and mobility drills. They are small enough to live in your bag permanently, and the compact carry bag keeps them together.
Step 2: Add resistance anywhere
The OlyFit PowerBand Set (5 Levels) adds five longer resistance levels for full strength work: rows, presses, squats, assisted pull-ups and stretching. Bands are especially useful for home and hotel workouts, where you have no access to weights.
Step 3: Train your core

The OlyFit CoreRoll Abs Trainer uses a smooth, controlled rolling motion to challenge your core, shoulders and arms together. Ergonomic handles keep your grip comfortable, so you can focus on control rather than speed.
Step 4: Gym-specific support
If you lift with a barbell or use cable machines, add:
- OlyFit TitanLift Leather Belt for firm core support on heavy squats and deadlifts.
- OlyFit PowerGrip Wrist Straps to reduce grip fatigue on heavy pulls.
- OlyFit ComfortLift Squat Pad to cushion the bar during hip thrusts and squats.
- OlyFit FlexLock Ankle Cuffs for cable kickbacks, abductions and other lower-body cable work.
Step 5: Hydration and recovery
Keep the OlyFit SteelHydrate Water Bottle or the larger OlyFit SteelQuencher 40 with you, use the OlyFit SteelCore Protein Shaker for post-workout shakes, and pack the quick-drying OlyFit MicroDry Gym Towel. To track your progress over time, the OlyFit PrecisionFit Measuring Tape is a simple way to measure change without relying on the scale alone.
Step 6: Carry it all
A drawstring bag such as the OlyFit Transit Drawstring Bag is enough for a few bands and a towel. For a full kit, or for travel, the OlyFit Viaggio Duffle Bag has room for everything plus a sleeve for luggage handles.
Three ready-made kits

How often to replace and care for your kit
Good accessories last a long time when you look after them. Rinse and air-dry the microfibre towel after sweaty sessions, and wash it separately from cotton so it keeps its absorbency. Wipe resistance bands down after use, store them away from direct sunlight and check them regularly for nicks or thinning before each session. Hand-wash stainless steel bottles and the shaker, and let them dry with the lid off to avoid odours. Wipe the leather lifting belt with a dry cloth and keep it flat or loosely rolled rather than folded tightly.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need all of these accessories?
No. Start with the pieces that match how you train most often, then add tools as your programme grows.
Which accessory is best for home workouts?
The PowerBand set and the MiniTone bands give you the most variety in the least space.
